Atheniensis, decretô Atheniensibus persuasit, coronari oportere Demosthenem aureâ coronâ in theatro, probitatis, et virtutis omnis generis ergo. Ob id ab Aeschine, Demosthenis inimico, tamquam perniciosi decreti auctor accusatus, defenditur a Demosthene praeclarâ illâ, atque omnium optimâ oratione, quae περί Στεφάνου inscribitur, Cicero.

pagus Assyriae amplissimus, in Tigridis altera ripa, e regione Seleuciae urbis, a Parthis exstructus; Ibi Parthorum Reges in hieme propter aeris temperiem degere solebant, aestatem vero in Hyrcania, et Ecbatanis agebant, Contra hos movens Traianus Imperator Euphratem ponte iunxit, ac Adiabenorum gente domitâ, Assyriâque occupatâ, Babylonem et Ctesiphontem intravit.
